M O U N T   C H O C O R U A

White Mountain National Forest
Southern New Hampshire

Bill indicates our starting and ending points. Hey, sweet watch Bill. It's just like mine. I notice your forearms are a bit more hairy than mine though. Regardless, we start our hike at 10:30am, hairy forearms and all.

At the trailhead we see someone's attempt at either advertising lost articles or dressing up an otherwise ugly wooden post. Dressed in pink, purple, green, and yellow, the post looks rather nice. Perhaps I'm seeing my parking fees at work here?

Okay, enough lollygagging, time to hit the trail. We're sharing our start with a group of folks and their two fleabag friends.

We immediately run into some interesting and colorful fungi.

I then hit me up with some fuzzy moss action. Mmmm, fuzzy.

A little more hiking takes us to steeper slopes and past this graffitied section of the forest.
