Sometimes I arrive at my next destination late in the evening when it's dark. After arrival all that's left to do is to find a suitable car-camp spot, park the van, then hit the sack. Usually I wake to just a street, a bunch of houses, and nothing of much interest. Every once in a while when I open the van's double doors to greet the morning, I'm dished up with a surprise. In Kalispell, MT a few weeks back it was a beautiful garden, this day it's the hills surrounding Jackson, WY.

Before digging into the task of playing catch-up with my travel writing, I decide to take a stroll around downtown Jackson.

Click here for more detail (and picures) on my tour of Jackson, Wyoming.

Okay, no more goofing off, it is time to get back to my travel writing. I spend the rest of the day and evening heads-down over my laptop, typing away like a madman.
