Folks enjoying a little canoeing.

Only 8 miles to go to Lake Placid.

After a little more driving I arrive at Lake Placid and am greeted by Whiteface Mountain in the distance.

Having not eaten yet today and not wanting to monkey around with making anything in the van, I take the path of least resistance again (yesterday I did the same thing) and eat at Mickey D's.
