Normally Bill works out of his home but today he's out of town in Boston on business. Left on my own, I decide to drive around a bit and look for some good ole New England charm. The day is sunny and the leaves are in full-color glory, it shouldn't take me long at all to find something worth shooting.

In the early afternoon I hit the road, my search is in full swing.

Soon enough I cross over the Ossipee River near Porter, ME. The rainbow view of the trees at river's edge catches my eye, so I park the van and backtrack to mid-bridge on foot to enjoy nature's fireworks of foliage.

Near the bridge I see a grand, golden tree doing its best to cast a vain image across the river's calm and glistening surface.

Absent-mindedly I snap some shots of the reflection. I typically operate on the premise that if it's there and halfway interesting, I'll take a picture of it.
