Things really go over the top when I hit city center. I wonder, is this considered the "Southern" Las Vegas?

The lights quickly mellow out as I near the city's western reaches. Thank God.

Upon arrival at the same Walmart parking lot I overnighted in last night, I hop to it and fix myself some chow. I cook up some chicken, potatoes, carrots, and smother it all in gravy. Yup, this is good ole southern cooking at its finest.

After dinner I do a little travel writing before turning into bed. Tomorrow I think I'll try to find a good place to go mountain biking. I'll need to check my biking maps for suitable trails. Well, I guess that'll all have to wait until tomorrow.
