The west entrance to Glacier National Park is filled with small touristy shops. Many folks are milling about, some returning from a group rafting trip, others just walking around and enjoying the day.

I arrive at the Park's toll. I decide to ante up $50 for the yearly pass that's good at any National Park, a wise choice considering I'll be visiting many National Parks as I progress through my road trip adventure. I make a quick visit to the Apgar Visitor Center and get the skinny on biking opportunities in the park as well as if car camping is allowed. I'm told car camping is allowed at any of the campgrounds.
