Northwestern Wyoming

A view to the right of Clepsydra Geyser. Look at all the colors, its truly Mother Nature's pallette.

Jelly Geyser. I wonder what kind of jelly it spews? Maybe blueberry? Too bad there isn't a neighboring Peanut Butter Geyser.

My last stop, Celestine Pool. "No documentation exists of how this spring was named - but its blue color does seem to match the deep blue of the sky." Sadly, my tour has come to an end.

In summary, Yellowstone's Fountain Paint Pot Area proves both colorful and dynamic. It has a perculating mudpot (my favorite) and a near constant geyser. It receives a 4.5 thumbs-up out of a possible 5 thumbs.
