Here, the sun is about ready to give up the ghost. Aside from a few jet contrails, there isn't a mark to be seen anywhere on the kaleidoscope colored sky.

Some colorful aftereffects.

Swinging the camera around to the east, the colors here are markedly different. It's the whole ROYGBIV thing going on here. The further away from the sun we get the more blues, indigoes, and violets of the optical light spectrum we see.
