Taos, New Mexico

The trail is dry, dusty, and a little rocky. Perfect fodder for my mountain bike's knobby tires.

All around I see the rolling foothills of Tetillas Peak, one of the many peaks that populate Carson National Forest.

So far the bike ride is just okay, but certainly nothing to write home about... er... well I am writing home about it, so to speak. Well, bear with me, it has to get better than this. Let's see how we can make the most of it.

Oh, here we go, look at this. Check out all the erosion.

Here we have some exposed rock strata.

There are smooth surfaces over this way.

Looking over my shoulder, over yonder, you'll find Taos, NM somewhere out there.
