Western Washington State

And to my absolute amazement, I stumble across a number of ancient motifs burned into the ground. After seeing them, I start to wonder about these ancient people, where they at all like us? Maybe finding themselves in need of ways to fight boredom by filling in the empty spaces of waiting with unusual activities? Well, I guess we'll never know, it's all speculation now.

Here is the collection of 3 motifs I manage to uncover while waiting for the sun to set. I've named them, that's what folks who discover stuff do. From left to right, we have 1) Eye of Extended Mystery, 2) Lengthy Impatience, 3) Stride of Life.

Damn, the sun is still too high in the sky for photography. So I decide to break out my facial imitations.

This is my best Vin Diesel. So whaddya think? Hey, I'm skinny compared to him but remember, this is a facial shot only, just concentrate on that.

Finally! The sun is starting to set. The pictures turn out well I think, I'm happy I waited.

With the setting sun I hike back to the van and after a little driving exit the park. Mount Rainier National Park turns out to be a nice park for sunset pictures, expecially when Mount Rainier is the subject of the photo. Too bad I don't have more time to check out the park but that's okay, I live fairly close so I can always come back another time with relative ease. I rate my tour of Mount Rainier National Park a 4.5 thumbs-up out of a possible 5 thumbs.
