I arrive a little before 9am. The gates are scheduled to open at 9am.

Here's a map of the park. Just look at all that's going here, very impressive.

Once 9am rolls around, with ticket in hand, I pass through the gate.

The first thing I notice right away when walking through the gate is this tall, 7-level tower off in the distance. I've been to Cedar Point before, almost 15 years ago, and I don't recall seeing it then.

Apparently resort guests and Joe Cool Club Members get some perks. What they are I'm not sure. Free dog food?
