Massachusetts

Various vegetation in the area.

Driving back through the outskirts of Provincetown, I discover a little turnoff. I park the van, then read up on the area's ecology. The salt marshes are a stone's throw away, and according to this placard, they support an amazingly large variety of flora and fauna.

This placard talks about the tidal flats, inviting visitors to trek out during low tide to investigate the tidal pools that are teeming with abundant life.

Close by there's this manmade breakwall. From my low vantage point, it looks like it goes on forever and ever.

In the distance I see either Wood End Light or Long Point Light, I'm not sure which. They both are fairly close to one another and they look the same.
