Looking toward the bow (front) of the ship from the Upper Deck, I see the two open doors of the Forecastle. Atop the Forecastle is the Foremast. I take a quick look into the Forecastle and see a brick oven of sorts. Opposite the oven is a single bunk. Boy, doesn't that look plenty uncomfortable.

Now on the Half Deck, looking toward the stern (rear) of the ship, I see the Captain's Cabin. Atop the Captain's Cabin is what's called the Poop Deck. The Mizzen Mast is in the foreground, in front of the Captain's Cabin. I also see a Pilgrim who looks like Brutus from Popeye. Check out his prickly hat. Is he role playing Mayflower's little know renegade passenger, the Punker Pilgrim?

I take a gander into the Captain's Cabin. Considering what all the other passengers had for accommodations, this is some pretty sweet digs.

Here's the Poop Deck and the top of the Mizzen Mast. Poop Deck? I'm surprised that above the Captain's Cabin, the place where the guy in charge sleeps, eats, plans, is a place called the Poop Deck. Is this where the Pilgrims take their canine pets when they have to do their duty? There was no mention of dogs in the passenger list. Hmmm. It must mean something else.

Down I go to the Upper Deck where I see the Mainmast and the opening to the Special Cabins. Here's the base of the Mainmast where up top you'll find the Crows Nest. To get there, you have to scale a rope ladder. The ladder reminds me of that carnival game where you have to climb a wobbly rope ladder in order to win an enormous, stuffed animal. The reward climbing this ladder is a heightened view of Cape Cod Bay.
