White Mountain National Forest
Southern New Hampshire

There's a lot of folks up here. Being such a popular hike, this place must swarm with people on the weekends in the summertime during good weather.

Some rock graffiti.

Following Bill's lead, we keep pushing along. The wind is picking up now, as illustrated by this next video (1.2 MB). It contains exciting live footage of Bill in hiking action. Here's another (1.5 MB), in this one I give a little commentary.

I'm really cold right now. Wish I had a hot chocolate, I'd pour it over my head.

The wind is really blowing cold and hard right now. Just a few more minutes and we'll be grabbing our well-earned mountaintop prize. To illustrate how crazy steep the climbing feels as we slog our way to the top, here's a sideways video (1.4 MB) showing the final pitch before reaching the top.

And grab that prize I do! Hello world! I'm on top of New Hampshire! Well, actually, probably more than a million folks are on top of New Hampshire right now, it's just that I'm a bit higher than most of them.
