I enter the shelter house. The elevator is located at the shelter's center, around which the building is wrapped, allowing 360 degrees of access. The entire outer wall is ringed with windows for viewing.

The same 5 military banners seen earlier in Whiteface Castle are also present here within the shelter house.

Apparently there's a light atop the shelter house that shines a constant tribute to all American War Veterans.

Many display cases are on-hand, filled full with photos related to the people and events surrounding the history of the mountain's ski resort.
