This oak tree was planted as a memorial in 1965, 1 year after I was born.

Here are some parting shots of the additional flora and fauna.

The time has finally arrived, my tour is officially over. It was a quick tour, but one that was filled with interesting early American history. They've really put a lot of TLC into this place, given how ruined it was when the restoration effort started. I'm kinda bummed, however, about not being able to take pictures inside the Shrine as well as within the Long Barrack Museum.

Out of a possible 5 thumbs-up rating, I give my tour of The Alamo 4 thumbs-up.
