The backstop looks a little down-and-out and hasn't aged well since I last saw it years ago.

It appears they now have corporate sponsorship to help support the cost of playing baseball. When I was a kid sponsorship fell solely on the parents. And they were only on the hook for buying our baseball uniforms. I'm not sure who or what paid all the other expenses.

My last order of business before I complete my tour of Oakfield is to ride down the northern portion of Main Street. It all looks pretty much the same.
