With the exception of Becky's Treasures & Crafts. Becky was one of the kids I used to play with on our street, she was one of the next door neighbor children. She's now all grow'd up and owns/runs this business with her husband. It's a combination craft, hardware, and used furniture store. It's a really nice little store.

Well that concludes my tour of Oakfield, NY, my old childhood stomping grounds. If you can, I think it's always good to visit your old hometown from time to time. It pulls you back to your roots and makes you feel a little bit like a kid again. At the same time, for me, it reinforces a desire to stay connected with who I used to be. And visiting does just that.

I rate my tour of Oakfield, NY a 5 thumbs-up, a perfect rating! Of course I'm going to give Oakfield a perfect score. Not only is it a part of my history, it's also a part of me.
