After seeing all those colorful residences, I become inspired and bust out some artistic skill, or something like that. So, whadda ya think?

When I think of New Orleans I sometimes think of people crowding onto balconies. With strings of beads around their necks, I envision them taunting people in the streets below, challenging them to perform lewd acts for their beads. Oh, how naughty of me. As you can see, my imaginings haven't quite hit their mark. But, then again, it isn't nightime yet.

Some of the balconies and galleries are business related, while others are attached to private residences. These outside structures are important architectural elements here in the Big Easy. I'm not sure why that is. Oh, right, the bead and lewd act thing, how could I have forgotten. Seriously, there must be a better reason for their existence.
