At my feet I see an assortment of little shelled sea creatures. Some are just husks of their former selves while others are alive, patiently waiting for the tide to return.

These live subjects are anchored to terra firma. Well, maybe not firma cuz I'm holding terra in my hand. Terra semi-firma?

Sprinkled far and wide along the beach these little guys are all tucked up in their shells. I can't seem to focus the damn camera in the subject matter however, but you get the general idea.

And of course we cannot forget to mention the barnacle constituency.

Rock, rock and more rocks. What would a rugged beach be without its rocks?

Just prior to wrapping things up I stumble upon what looks like a petrified log.
