Houston, Texas

Back to the tram for some new adventure.

On the way to the next exhibit, the tram passes by this goliath liquid nitrogen tank. Apparently there's a need to keep things cold here at the space center.

Hangar-X? Hmmm, is there an alien spacecraft in there? It sounds so "top-secret!"

Awww, bummer! No alien spacecraft. However, these spacecraft look rather interesting.

Here's a test run. Dropped from a high altitude, it's a glider of sorts since there's no engine. Sadly, it cheats in the end by using a parachute. All the money spent on building this high-tech piece of equipment then they throw in a parachute. It's kind of a buzz-kill, but, it's a cheap solution. Nothing wrong with that.

Looks like they've scrimped on the landing gear as well. It's just an ordinary skid. I wonder, given all that I've seen so far, is this craft made of paper mache? Hmmm. I think they need to rename the hangar to Hangar-L. "L" for low-tech.
