RARE & ENDANGERED SPECIES

My next stop is the Rare and Endangered Species Exhibit. As indicated by the placard, if you've ever had one or more plants seized by U.S. Customs, there's a chance they've planted them here at the USBG. I wonder, has anyone ever visited their long-parted plants after they served their jail time?

Here's some of the plants on display. Hmmm, if the Conservatory was on fire, would the staff rescue the plants from this display first? How'd you like to be the dolt who gets stuck grabbing the cactus plants, having forgotten your gloves due to all the commotion?

Some interesting placards. Oh okay, let's admit it, if you're not really into plants then they're all rather uninteresting.
