Washington, D.C.

It's my understanding that orchids are both finicky and difficult to grow. My parents have tried for years to grow orchids, but they never want to bloom. I wonder, are some of these flowers plastic? The dinosaur skeletons on display at the National Museum of Natural History here at the Capitol are part plaster, so why not add a plastic blooms when the plants aren't up to the task? Sounds reasonable to me.

The represented colors here are just spectacular.

The orchids just go on and on.
