After crossing the bridge I climb this stone step feature. I think someone intentionally put the rocks in this configuration.

After more upward slogging the sunlight starts to peek through the forest canopy. A trail marker is here to show me the way, dispelling any and all possible confusion.

Then the light disappears and the forest closed in on me, all dark and spooky.

Whoops! The spooky forest took my mind of my hiking and I slipped, I swear!

Ahhhh, to my great pleasure things lighten up once again.
